Some people are just addicted to misery and drama, but we can choose to ignore them

The wheel eh! Catherine of Aragon caused a bigger stink for Henry though.

There's mischief makers amongst us, op, they revel in chaos and turmoil. Usually starts with those who ain't getting any from what I see.

I see a headline on a certain topic and I think "well at least ******** will have something to stir the pot with today"

Sure enough the thread is always there...

I don't mind so much of someone starts a controversial thread,

Its when the OP lights the spark then sits back watching the fireworks.

those type of threads seem to be very popular with people quoting and re quoting and often making similar points to other posters. If people enjoy a thread they'll contribute if not they wouldn't answer and it would fall off the page

Forumites love to be angry. Angry threads fill up quickly. Getting angry raises the blood pressure and blows the cobwebs away.

Apathy is a killer, especially in a winter lockdown.

?

Is it drama and negativity, or is it just people having a serious discussion? It's all down to perspective.

I'd much rather read and/or post on a serious, thought provoking thread than kiss, fuck avoid part 72943. We all have preferences, and it's easy to scroll past.

Manchester (she/her)

Because they want to discuss an issue, or they need to declare their position (as if it weren't already clear).

I certainly enjoy meaty conversation where I can find it.

Each to their own.

I'm not looking for attention via forums. I enjoy light hearted threads rather than expression my opinions on others threads, as this might upset others.
