It wasn't until a friend told me to goggle sushi that I realised it means made with rice and that there are different types depending on what it is filled with. |

Yes the sushi bit is the rice not the raw fish or cooked products on top. Love the Wasabi ginger very spicy and hot also the rice needs dunking in the soy sauce to complete a gorgeous mouthful.
Love Sushi and sashimi with lovely pickles. |

"Love, love, love it!
I can bet half the people who are saying they hate it or don't like it, have never actually tried it.
"
Think most think it's just raw fish. I love sushi, don't buy it from supermarkets often as I find them dry. |

Love Japanese food, and I love to visit good quality conveyor belt sushi joints.
I would pick a mixture of dishes, cheapest is veggie dishes such as spinach with a peanut sauce, to the most expensive which is usually a fancy sashimi spread.
My favourite hand-roll is crispy salmon skin with spring onions, cheap compared with fancier ones with prawn tempura.
I would normally eat 8 to 10 plates on my own.
Can't wait for my next fix in Sep 12.

I've just started buying the wee sushi boxes out of Tesco (other supermarkets are available, just not in my town) and I like them, I've never eaten sushi in a restaurant and have just googled to see if there's any in Cumbria - apparently not....next time I'm on day release and get down to the big city looks like I'll be trying the sushi bar in the Trafford Centre |

Yo! Sushi is ok for the masses or the uninitiated.
However, I would advise going on one of their promotional days when the prices are reduced, as it can be very expensive otherwise.
Have fun!

I believe it is called "Blue Mondays", with dishes at 2.40 GBP a plate.
However, it usually means a reduced menu with less top end dishes available.
It is still worth going for the fun and experience IMHO.
