Tea bag in cup, drop of milk added, wait for kettle to boil and add water - wait for tea to brew for a few minutes use spoon to stir and squeeze the bag against the side of the cup until the tea is just the right colour (which is why, for me, adding the milk first helps) and drink.
That's how I do it - and works for me, if others do so differently, that's how it works for them - quite simple really  |

Oh dear, seems I’m a heathen then 
I only do it because I never seem to leave the right amount of space for the milk and end up either taking tea out with a spoon to make room for enough milk or forever topping up afterwards.
Put the milk in first and just take bag out when you’re at the colour you want  |

I don't even drink tea (or coffee), but that's how I make it for guests.
One even told me it was the best cuppa they had had for ages... I guess they put milk first |
