The Guardian up to its old scaremongering tricks. Apparently scientists have been tracking a radio beam from outer space which could come from alien life. Not sure we should be trying to make contact. They could be evil buggers... |

If this were more verified, it would certainly be bigger news!
Plenty of astronomical sources giving rise to radio waves, without life
That being said, it would be lovely to meet some aliens!

If extraterrestrial life come across us, those with any sense will either stay well clear or invade us... we are so hateful and irresponsible as a species.
I don't doubt that there's other life out there but not sure that this is proof of one. |

The article makes it very clear that it is unlikely to be an artificial, alien made, signal - but if it weren't then it would be very exciting, and I can't think of a single reason why you would not want to discover another existent life form out there - one that could potentially further our level of knowledge on so many levels. |

Hasn’t some ex head of Israeli security forces come out and claimed theres aliens that we’re in contact with? And that there’s a whole galactic federation or some nonsense out there? |

David Fravor is actually a very interesting person to listen to on the subject tbh. He was a US Navy pilot and was one the pilots responsible for recording the tic tac craft that where seen multiple times in the Pacific, if you remember the Pentagon releasing the footage was quite big news. Hes not your normal UFO crazy person. Alot of what he saw makes what Bob Lazar spoke about seem plausible.
