It’s been on my mind for ages and I need to share....my flatmate (f) comes in boozy and plays....vibrator going breathy and she talks too....does she think I can’t hear or does she want me to!? It happens at least twice a week and it’s driving me mad! Advice please? |

What about her actions and behaviour makes you think she wants you? Sounds like she's doing what she wants in private, but walls are thin. I can hear next door discussing dinner arrangements but doesn't mean I'm invited. |

You could always raise it with her.
If she’s a bit exhibitionisty, then you might find she likes that you’ve heard her. Otherwise it might encourage her to keep it down  |

So either a) politely ignore (I have shared flats, and there were always certain things I just pretended didn't happen), or b) comment in general terms about the walls being thin and it's good we're all adults who can respect each other.

Not sure what she thinks but I think it's none of your business.
If she's loud it's cos she's vocally aroused and not doing it deliberately so you can hear.
If she's enjoying her moment it's for her benefit and not yours.
If you've been flat sharing a long time and you have a good professional relationship and you know she won't take it completely out of context then tell her your aware of her actions if it genuinely bothers you.
If not then just let her have her time to herself and stop reading into a situation that isn't there. |
