I've had the odd socially distanced date, a nice walk in the fresh air. It's been nice to take things back to basics in my opinion althiyghi haven't met anyone that I'd want to snog the face off yet so it's been easy! |

I met a lady for a walk last week for a wander around Shrewsbury it was quite nice and at least we got to talk. But taking it further is going to be difficult  |

Yes I agree, if you wanted to take things further it's certainly more considered. It does take the pressure off that 1st kiss though if tour not feeling it, just say....sorry cant, covid! |

Because I'm looking for long term the kiss can wait! I think for once finding a genuine relationship isn't motivated by sex! Anyway a full body condom is not a great look  |

Exactly the same as me, but finding them 1st is the issue. Theres very few people around that actually want to date and looking for long term  |

When it was still nice out, I went on a few socially distant dates.
We'd walk (at a distance) around a country park or along a river whilst having a nice chat, then find somewhere to sit and eat a picnic (we'd both pack and take our own and sit apart on camping chairs).
They were odd keeping at a distance, and no hug or kiss at the end, but they were nice.
None of them went anywhere and wouldn't have even without distancing, but I've now got a few new friends to chat too.
So, as long as you just want to get to know someone, it's not that bad. You just have to get more inventive than going for a drink. |
