I used to until I fell in love and lived with a woman who is the absolute antithesis of OCD!! I had to learn to 'look away' or be driven mad.
Foe me, it was not that something terrible will happen. It was thinking that it wasn't done properly the first 6 times or checking that it has been done properly for the 7th time. Checking that something has been turned off for the umpteenth time even though my head was telling it had been....... |

I’ve always thought that the letters should be in the right order, Compulsive Obsessive Discorder!
I’m quite OCD in the kitchen and in general I like the place to be tidy and clutter free but that’s about it.

Not to the point of switching on and off light switches a hundred times. But it is a factor of my condition. Weirdly is selective though. I can spend 10 minutes, 10 times a day hoovering a rug that the pile is going the wrong way. Yet I can't be fucked making up my bed. Because it's not in my line of vision.
