Traffic police in London have been trained to pursue moped gangs who steal and make off on their bikes and knock them off their bikes I believe..

A member of the public pursued two criminals who stole a motorcycle outside of his house. He chased in his car and knocked them off the stolen bike. One criminal died.. the member of the public got 10 years..

Justice or not ?

Not justice, but also can't let people take the law into their own hands and become a vigilante state.

Runs the risk of people getting carried away and innocents being hurt.

Personally ... A criminal being hurt while in the act is absolutely deserved and might make a few think twice about their behaviour.

justice as in natural justice or as in justice as meted out by our courts?

Exhales...tough one. I can see where the guy was coming from, but chasing him and killing him, is a bit much even for me.

Like, I support the American law that would allow you to use your firearm to protect your house and shoot an intruder, however I don't think you should be allowed to chase the intruder down through the streets and then gun them down, but as protection against a threat I think it's ok.

This guy wasn't protecting himself, he just wanted his stuff back.

Its a shame the police arnt doing there job as it would be different.

People are getting fed up of oh heres your crime report number contact your insurance...

No gear and loads of hassle while many sit on there backside.

Its peoples lawful authority to give a thief a good hiding as long as you know when to stop.
