I thought winks were you show someone was interested in you.
I've had quite a few winks were l have sent back a really polite message thanking them for their interest and that I have read their profile and would love to have a chat ,only either to get ignored or funnier still be blocked.
The older I get the more I realise I really don't understand how people think

It’s the fab equivalent of a wolf whistle.
If they were THAT interested they’d more than likely message. But for the moment they’re saying “oi you! I like what I see!”
Don’t message them if you keep getting nowhere, let them take it further. |

Winks!
I’ve given up and now just wink people back instead of messaging them. When I ask them why they winked a lot cannot give an answer, and still too many wink based on photos and don’t read the profile so beat a hasty retreat when they actually do speak to us. |
