I haven’t noticed bitterness, jealousy or lamp post pissing lately.
I have seen folk get a bit tetchy. But that’s it.
The forums are a place I come to when I want something to read, that makes me smile and makes me think. If they didn’t do that I wouldn’t be here, I’d go elsewhere.
And I think if folk do leave they should be left to go in peace without those left behind trying to create bad feeling.

Well to me it's about making friends discussing things on your mind our just having a bit if silly fun all the while making connections with people you might not have spoken to without the forums.
What I dont understand is the bitterness and jealousy lamp post pissing and nastiness that seems to be in the forums. I just wish everyone would get along and or be nice to each other....
So what does the forums mean to everyone else????

The forums used to be many things to me - somewhere to pass the time, to chat, to get to know people, to have a laugh, to learn things, to offer opinions and have them respected, whilst respecting those of others and a whole lot more.
Lately they're not doing a great deal for me being perfectly honest - which is why I don't post a great deal, or certainly not as much as I used to - I disagree though that there is any more lamp post pissing, nastiness or bitterness than there has ever been, and it's never been that much - I do think there's more contention though, where differing opinions are seen as an attack rather than simply being differing opinions.
Thing is though, saying " I just wish everyone would get along and or be nice to each other...." is not going to make the slightest bit of difference - Fab is no different from real life, you can't expect everyone to like each other or "get along", or for everyone to offer the same opinion and agree - life doesn't work like that, and Fab as a microcosm of life doesn't either.
I'll offer opinions on things, and accept, and respect, that others may have different ones. There are of course some people I don't particularly like or get on with, and for the most part I avoid them, but it also won't stop me offering an opinion or posting a comment on a public forum when I feel the urge to do so, which for me anyway, is less and less these days for a variety of reasons. |

There is bitter people everywhere you look, even more these days. The forums are fun and exciting sometimes when theres an interesting arguement. And definitely offer great entertainment. I just pay attention to what helps me be a better me and skip the bs.. |

I come here for a chit chat/make friends have a laugh! And yes the nastiness even bullying some times whilst not nice I let go over my head! Just have to not take things to serious here! have a big salt pot to hand! And love a good discussion/ finding out things etc., x |

I have been reading though all the comments and I worry that this thread has turned sour with people seeming to think fingers are being pointed and people feeling I was stirring stuff up i merely wondered what the forums mean to everyone else and believe that respect should always be shown to everyone on here regardless of race sexuality religion or opinion as long as everyone is having a good time and enjoys fab for what it is  |

To me the forums are a good place to air my views on certain subjects. I especially like if my view on a certain subject is challenged or changed.
OP you seem like a nice guy but not everyone is. If you can't accept this then public forums aren't the best place to be.

Mainly habit and people watching these days...occasionally I'll add my thoughts, usually to the more thought provoking threads, but I don't post or spend time here anywhere near as much as I used to. |

The forums give me a means of interaction with open minded sexual personalities. I can be silly, flirtatious and serious from one thread to the next. I can get my attention seeking needs fulfilled in bucket loads.
The forums have also given me the opportunity to break the ice with people that I feel attracted to and this has previously progressed to play dates...lucky me.
I have made friendships, then been out for drinks and chatted for hours.
I have had the fortunate opportunity to be the subject of people's artistic talents, which has honestly astounded me and filled me with happiness.
And I get to enjoy a favourite pastime of people watching. I observe the highs and lows of the forum and enjoy reading the responses to threads even if I choose not to participate.
I enjoy the forum and will be here for a good while yet

Smidgen of news, a pinch of comaradery, a hefty table spoon of sarcasm and an avalanche of face palming at the single guys complaining or the ladies requesting a height filter whilst also eating weight/body type filter is wrong. |

Given that we're not meeting, and I'm bored with sexting, I'm only coming onto Fab for the forums these days. I'm not a big contributer, but enjoy the range of topics. Its good to speak to people that I wouldn't usually connect with. |

Forum posts are on varied, random and sometimes insane topics. Some of which I find interesting, some I don't, but I'm sure they're interesting to someone. Not a fan of negativity. If somethings not for you just move along. If you have nothing nice to say to someone then. Just move on... |
