My ex husband is a Liverpool fan, when we got married his friends wrote to Liverpool for to ask for a wedding card to be signed by someone at the club.
Gerard Houllier sent us a lovely letter and a card signed by all the first team players (1999).
I let my ex keep the letter and card when we split up

He kept a place in Liverpool even after he left the club and he always downplayed the charity work he did for the hospital that saved his life. He was a humble, true hero. YNWA |
