For those still up, tonight is the Geminid meteor shower. If there's a clear sky where you are, you're likely to see one minute. Spectacular viewing!
Being in Spain, the sky is nearly always clear, and not too cold, so I've seen many tonight. As a single man, this is far more successful than trying to meet a single woman or couple on here! |

Started at school but my formative education happened where I think you are now (the Guardamar area). Venture into the non expat bits and you'll learn. I had to help my parents translate when their holiday villa was being finished - I'd been learning at school for a year or so and suddenly I was ordering furniture, translating forms and phoning builders. |

Yes, I'm five mins away from Guardamar in La Marina.
Dealing with Spanish trades people sounds like a great way to improve your language skills! Do your parents still have their place over here, and do you come out much?
I'm outside again now and have seen several more meteors, including one fireball which was quite a sight! Getting cold now though, so I'm going inside and thence to bed to get warm...

No they don't anymore. Sad really but family circumstances meant they couldn't go as often as they hoped latterly. We try to holiday in Spain every year, but 2020 has defeated us unfortunately. Buenas noches Derek! |
