Life in over 50s

So many stunning/hot women on here. Then I look at the age range and so many refuse over 50s.
There are some silver foxes out there with life in their bones still you know. Or is it a lost call for us older gentleman? All advise gladly received |

My fella is over 50 years of age & he’s still got it , well in my eyes he has & we’re still getting offers to meet up . That is once safe to do so after Covid |

There are loads of people looking for over 50s, but from what we see they are looking for over 50s couples.

My wife is 64 and I am 58. We found her a very nice bloke of 58, he was extremely capable of satisfying my wife on a regular basis. It was great fun while the arrangement lasted.
Being over 50 hasn't stopped us, just made us a little more adventurous.
Finding my wife another exclusive man friend with benefits, is proving to be quite a challenge though. |

I used to have my limit firmly set at 45 but having had the pleasure of a night with an older gent recently my mind is a lot more open. It’s not like I’m looking to marry someone so if there’s attraction she should be a number it everyone is consenting. I’m starting to have my eyes opened especially when I had an evening with a younger guy which was a disappointment. It’s a cliche but with age really does come experience, older does often equal better. |

I've found that most men who message me on here at 50+ have already applied that, themselves. I have yet to chat with any 50+ who are not at least 3-5 years older than they claim.
So, I lowered my age range (looking for) by 5 years.
If men can't get it right, at least the filters can. |

It's not a lost cause, but you need to get your head round the fact that because of your age, many won't want to meet you
There's also no saying if you were under 50 they would want to meet you anyway
Online, concentrate on those that do meet the over 50's, otherwise you set yourself up for a frustrating ride
Away from Fab, if clubs are on your agenda, then go.
Face to face, it's unlikely that you will be asked for your age and there may be people there that find you attractive and want to play

Sorry to say but it's all about personal preference.
Im over 50 ans yes while its nice to have a peep at profiles you have to be aware that some aren't looking for our age group.
My advice is just relax and enjoy the forums  |

I'm finding the 40-50 age group of ladies (and I know it's a generalisation) more picky or focussed on age. The younger ladies are more freeform and look at the person more. As I said a generalisation though. |

I am 57 and so is my mrs. We are only after cpls though. But we have had loads of offers off other young cpls to meet up to play but as we have kids their age we turn them down politely. Look for women and cpls looking for a guy of your age range. Try to remember even guys in their 20's are getting turned down as we see them as too young. Its not just guys over 50! John |

Im early 70s was having great fun until this virus put the dampers on it, hoping the equipment still works when everything back to normal, hope it not long just incase Haha. |

I stop being able to guess anyones age after about 25 so numbers arent overly important to me. I do like a mature face though. Have to set our filters somewhere I suppose. |

It's difficult for everyone this year due to Covid but before that as long as you put the effort in and get yourself to socials, events and or clubs and not just rely on FAB I can't see why there would be much of a problem |

We struggled on here for an age then started going to a few big socials & clubs.
It really is an attitude thing though, I personally find small talk difficult with many my own age, For instance they are usually grandparents, many no longer with kids at home or at Uni & we have a kid only halfway through primary school!
We also feel both of our ages work against us on here with either of us being out of someone’s range but usually it’s me.
We have no such issues away from Fab though so that’s where we concentrate our efforts though once we can we will still attend group Fab socials as they are fun.
On here it’s like trying to find one particular cornflake by dipping your hand in a newly opened packet without disturbing any of the others. Real world is more put 100gms of them in a bowl & then find the one.
The odds are always better in person.
Our last two gf’s have been under 30 & the chatting just happens, I can’t say we go out “Hunting” as it were.

At 51 I don't feel old, though I can see old age coming up slowly in the rear view mirror. I don't envy the young their youth, the very best to them. What I do find joyful is how small changes in exercise and diet still make large and positive differences for me.
I would love to be able to go to over 45 social and play events with 70's, 80's music once the pandemic is over.

Either too old or too young?
Use the advanced search facility, remembering to tick the box,I match the age they are looking for.
You may be surprised what results are thrown up
But please, remember,other people have age restrictions for a reason,please respect their wishes.

It doesn’t work that well if you’ve a big age gap. We tick it look at profiles & only H fits. Odd really as she’s the second on the profile so you’d think it would take my age & ignore hers?

I'm having the most erotic years of my life, here on Fab. In the past 3 years or so, I've had wonderful experiences, sexual and social, and ticked many boxes on my bucket list. This last year has been different, but I've stayed in touch with people I've met, with plans to meet again, when it's possible. For me, as I've got older, it's got better. |

My profile age, 54, is my real, genuine age. Yes, there are some very interesting profiles for whom on age alone I'm not for them (although that's not to say there wouldn't be other reasons also). That's their preference, and to be respected.
I concentrate on those people for whom my age is not a reason for dismissal, and there are some incredible people thinking along the same lines.
I can confirm there is life left in this one anyhow. In fact, I'm very much alive! |

I think the 'lost cause' view is one often held by people who concentrate on profiles that exclude them
There will be so many that will still consider meeting a guy in his 50's, so why would you have a wobble at someone that doesn't? |

Many over 50's still have a lot going for them, but statistically on here, they are a poor option. It's the thing I noticed when I joined. In the real world I don't have to work too hard to meet ladies, but on anything internet based, especially if you desire a certain amount of discretion, it's a rarity to be successful. |

I'm think it's absolutely fantastic that I'm nearly 53! Denied to so many sadly ...
But I have absolutely no worries that I'm too old for the majority because I couldn't give a stuff as my life is pretty much awesome ...here is such a tiny part of it tbh and meeting people out is way way better (precovid) but still doable (tier 1 here) it's just about attitude in all honesty
So many hang ups on here, it's quite sad really! |
