Razor bumps/rash. No matter what I do I always end up looking like a dot to bloody dot. I get the closest shave for like a day and then just sore and razor rash, I’ve tried every lotion,blade,gel/foam going and nothing seems to work.

Any tips for that perfect shave? Because I’m sick of looking like I have chicken pox lol

Waxing ouch! Hair removal creams are great but you never get that baby smooth feel.

Use hair conditioner instead of shaving foam/gel.

A decent fresh razor and shave with the direction of growth, it won't be the closest shave but it will give you the least amount of razor burn.

Warm your skin before you shave and cool it afterwards if shaving in the shower and don't put any moisturiser on for a good few hours after shaving to give your skin a bit of a chance to recover and not end up filling your pores with any man made substances.

If you have any ingrown hairs then they will always feel bad after shaving so if you can get them out then do so.

I was just wondering if you should wait a little while longer before shaving, allow those pours to open etc

Maybe don't shave? I know it's standard these days for women to be completely shaved but I'm a big fan of a neatly trimmed fanny and I know a lot of guys are as well. (yes I know its about what the lady wants and not the guy before anyone says it! )

Are you talking pubic area or anywhere?

If I'm having regular sex I find the best way to avoid a rash is to keep on top of it with a quick shave daily, trying not to keep going over same areas. But if it's been a while and I need to do a full groom I'll use Nair, have a bath, put on sudocrem. Then the following day go over with hair conditioner and a decent razor and rub in coconut oil afterwards.

For me, I get a hot towel with menthol oil and wrap my head for 5 mins.

I use a shave gel with Aloe Vera, (I think foam is useless)

I use a straight razor mostly, but have used normal Gillette with a lie strip protection and have always had a comfortable shave, no rash, no redness, no burn.

I then wrap my head in a chilled towel for a few mins.

I apply an aloe based balm afterwards.

This is what works for me.

If it's for your face use mens razors.

If it's for your front bum then dont.

I prefer a bush.

I have had several consultations but because I’m red haired and my hair is light and fair the laser wouldn’t pick it up and it wouldn’t work. I was offered a test patch but i didn’t want to grow my hair to try it. I went to a well known surgical company and also a smaller local clinic and both said the same. Very annoying. Xx

Literally anywhere under arms tops of legs and pubic areas are the worst but my lower legs are fine weirdly. X

You get razor rash from going over the same skin repeatedly

It suggests your razor or technique is out

Lather up with plenty of warm or hot water shower or bath

Lather some more it softens the hair

Then using a three blade razor shave downwards, lather some more and upwards

Works a treat for me face or tickle tackle

Does the hair have to be a certain length to wax. I tried home waxing couldn’t bring myself to pull the strips I’d have to go to someone but ouch x

I shave every day now. I always use sensitive shaving gel and after my shower I use talc. Never had an issue since I started using the talc every day.

On my legs, I have less rash if I exfoliate the day before I shave.

Yeah about half a centimetre minimum. When you've been waxing a while it grows back finer though so you don't mind growing it out so much.

I couldn't do it myself. I go to a salon. My waxing lady is great.

Oooh interesting when I’m up that way (hopefully if restrictions ease) you’ll have to let me know what salon you go to. Weird that I’ll swing but am a bit funny about a beautician getting up close and personal with me haha especially being bi you’d think I’d be used to ladies between my legs haha! I’d want half leg and the full Hollywood I think they call it??

Palm Coast

I have found a shaved woman always leaves a stubble rash on my nose when i am going down on her. It does not matter if she shaved immediately before the fun, there is always going to be some razor stubble which will ultimately irritate the tip of my nose. While beautiful to look at i have to say i would prefer a neat trim to shaven. Lynn has had laser hair removal and that is the best. Smooth, sexy, and ready for action!
