Just be aware, there is a scam going on at the moment. Someone messaged me supposedly from Halifax bank about someone trying to take money from my account from an unregistered device. Asking me to click on a link. Not doing that and I don’t bank with Halifax. Fake.

The scammers are out in force, the old dear nearly parted with money the other day to some twazzock pretending to be from HMRC. I have had a few dodgy phone calls pretending to be from the bank. Mr has had one pretending to be BT about an unpaid bill (he did his best Liam Neeson impression for them).

I'm getting a lot of calls, apparently from Sky. I have a go at them.

The HMRC ones quite convincing. Think it came as a voice Mail to me. Bamboozled me for a second

I got a call from Austria offering me an exciting investment opportunity. I burst out laughing. She was asking why I was laughing as I clicked the off button

I get loads of these as my mobile is a work phone so the number is all over the place. I hang up any phone call from any where that says I owe money or am been investigated if the HMRC really wanted to contact me it would be via letter and not by a dodgy phone call same goes for all the other scams

Also friendly reminder for Samsung users that when your phone alerts you of a scam call, it’s not always a scam.

Lots of charities are running lotteries for fundraising and the calls come up as scam on Samsung phone, it’s really hurting some good causes
