Maybe a strange one for a swingers site but this is something I struggle with.
I'm an awkward person with no friends (and I am not exaggerating). My friends are my family but what I really need is a honest and kind friend. Someone to just chill with, chat with, hang out with, someone open minded about this lifestyle who won't judge, so I thought... why not try here.

I am not great around new people and don't make friends easily.

I'm certainly in the same situation!
Happy to chat though, but sort of awkward, I suppose. A bit of an odd one, "takes some getting used to" maybe.

I’ve been wfh for 12 months now after a bit of surgery before March lockdown..
Can be really hard ... can’t wait to get back to the office x |

I was and still in the same boat as I worked permanent nights and nearly every weekend for 32 years since I left school and ended up drifting away from all my mates and friends. And now I’m nearly 50 some of the people I used to know are now either married with kids and grandchildren, moved away or now dead |

I get to spend half the week with my son, but then he goes to his dad's and I'm alone in a house. Bored. Cuddles. Chats. Heck even sitting in silence just knowing someone is there.
Someone on the other end of a phon when you've had a hard day, or want to share some funny stories, good news. I wish I had someone to do that with.
I saw a post a few days ago on social media that said: if you died, which 6 friends would carry the coffin. People joked about a best friend pushing it along the ground alone. When I realised I didn't even have that, it really hit home |

I'm sure that a lot of people are feeling more lonely than usual especially with all that's happened this year.
I live on my own but do like my own company. However, happy to just chat with anyone that thinks that it would help them

I totally understand where you are coming from OP and this is such a difficult time as well.
Normally if I was feeling lonely I would maybe join a club or go to a coffee morning or something similar but at the moment this just isn't an option.
Just remember this will not last forever even though it feels like it at the moment, And even though feel alone you are not alone.
