So tell me all. How do you spot a fake profile.
You know, the ones that have girls profile pics that are actually guys.
I know you're going to say check the varifications but it isn't always as easy as that. |

Does it seem too good to be true?
Are they pushing for pictures and wank chat immediately?
Are they super keen to meet up immediately?
Are they unwilling to verify themselves by other means?

Pics show up on reverse imaging sites. They're daft enough not to crop out the logo of a porn site or Onlyfans page. Every pic shows them living, as opposed to holidaying in a different country. You actually recognise the pornstar whose pics they've taken and they died 20 years ago.  |

You see I have a profile pic but as I'm not interested in meeting anyone, I've removed it for now. Basically I've set all my pictures to private hoping people would get the message but nope it doesn't work. |

As a pragmatist and pedant I would advise against declaring something either fake or real. Think of it in terms of your confidence level. Certain things like no avatar, no photo gallery, not photo-verified and virtually no writing in a woman's or couple's profile profile gives me a very low level of confidence that the profile is genuine. The opposite, with verifications from members, should increase your confidence
However, it's always possible to fake things so it's not always possible to confirm real or fake without direct access to the profile owner. Luke |

Most of the time it just comes down to a mix of gut instinct and various telling signs most of which have been mentioned - I think it also helps to spend time actually talking to people about "normal" things rather than it all being sex chat, or going straight to talking about meeting.
Most genuine people will want to engage with you the person, rather than you the person with the sex site profile and naked pics. |

Top Signs
1. Beginning of the message starts with Hi Hun or Babe.
2. Proceeds to ask for pics when they have none on the profile.
3. Profile is new with no veri,pics or friends.
4. Profile is a couples profile and its the husband messaging.
5. Requests to meet up but does not send any offline contact information i.e Mobile number.
6. Tells you that there mobile phone camera does not work or does not have a camera on their phone.??
7. Avoids answering the question "Do you have a face pic"
8. Couples - Male partner or Husbands messages 'my wife/gf has never had ....' or 'my wife/gf has always wanted to try....'
9. Profile name ends in a long series of numbers i.e 'profilename345534668'
10. Couples - Sends messages in first person and give detail to what there partner likes.
Probably have a few more i could add, but these are the ones that stand out for me.
Facetime and WhatsApp video call kind of eradicates the above, but then we also have timewasters to deal with ?? |

I've come across couples profiles photo and meet verified, And turned out to fake profiles or just a Bi or gay guy hiding behind couples profile.
Also have come across Profiles, Not Verified or anything, And tur out to be genuine.
I just go with the flow now, If it turns out to be a fake profile I just block em move on.
