...what lifts yours?
I've just come across a programme about The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams, this piece of music has never failed to lift me, it's beyond beautiful.  |

Knowing I've made someones day or even given them a smile lifts me.
Music also does this, although some is for a sad reason. Those same few tunes make me realise the world isnt always a shitty place.

So it does but mainly Cornwall for me, I cue the cd in the car so I can press play as the north Cornish coast hoves in to view. |

My heart was lifted today when DHL delivered an unexpected and incredibly thoughtful gift from a very good friend here on fab. I was very touched by such a lovely gesture

My heart was lifted recently.
People can be so kind, even ones that barely know you. 2020 has been crap for us all and topped off 2 weeks ago with me having a stroke (not the good kind).
So many people have been so kind and helpful. Family, friends, neighbours and strangers. Humans can be pretty bloody lovely when they try  |
