If you're short of options for during the day I can't recommend the Thermae Spa enough - a huge complex with an open air thermal pool on the roof that looks out over the city's rooftops.
Just checked and it is open currently |

The spa also do a twilight package which is awesome to go this time of year, and it includes dinner and a bottle of plonk  |

Bath is currently in tier 1 so no, you don't have to order food to be able to drink in a pub. That's for tier 2 pubs. |

Bath is currently in tier 1 so no, you don't have to order food to be able to drink in a pub. That's for tier 2 pubs. "
Bath is currently in Tier 2 according to both the Government website and also the Thermae Spa one - and have also seen news reports suggesting it may go into Tier 3 after reviews next week |

Yes sorry, my mistake, Bath was in tier 1 before the last lockdown and is indeed currently in Tier 2 |

Only Wales has the 6.00pm closing time for bars etc. Rest of UK not in tier 3 is 11.00pm with last orders at 10.00pm. |

You may have issues at your hotel as your not meant to travel between locations I had a meeting for work in a tier 2 region and still had to show my ID etc to prove I was in the area for work not leisure |
