What's the biggest decision you've ever had to make?

Did you make the right choice?

Would you do things differently now?

Manchester (she/her)

Emigrating.

It's the best mistake I ever made. Nothing went to plan and I would not encourage the person I was to do something so enormous.

Leaving my ex husband. Outwardly everything seemed fine but as we know that’s often not the reality. My life has since turned upside down in many ways and yet despite everything that’s happened as consequence I am happier and a better person and a much better mum!

Probably deciding to retrain and change career when I was about 30. Was scary knowing that I’d have a few years of study and only a part time wage to support myself. Was well worth it though, so glad I did it. The only change I’d make was doing it when I was younger.

The same for me.

It was a long time ago now and I'm reminded most days that it was the best decision of my life

I understand completely. Both my ex husbands cheated on me. We had great sex lives and still cannot understand why they did. But if it's put out on a plate i suppose the weak men will take up the offer. Now i have a beautiful human being as a partner. Just wish id met him 30yrs ago and. Avoided the dross i married. Also having the best sex of my life, finishing the menopause has released a new sexual me. I now try things with john id never hsve tried before. But who knows if we had met years ago he might hsve opened my eyes sooner to this great sexual experience. Id say its better to be free and single but unhappy than stuck with the unfaithful gits i chose as husbands to be honest. Jen x

If I could do it all again it would be retraining I would have done it straight from school, college - uni etc. If nothing else, it would have cost me a lot less that way. But then again if I’d done that I would have missed out on other things I’ve done!

Biggest decision I've made was to let something go. (apologies for being vague) and it definetley was the right choice

Biggest decision for me was to end my marriage and had the uncertainty of how it may impact my 2 children.

It was a tough time for a while for the 3 of us but we got through it. I sought professional help on how to support my children....and myself too.

8 years have passed and we are all happy and settled in our new lives, I have a great friendship with my ex husband and that greatly helps when raising our kids.

My ex and myself both have new partners and are extremely happy in our relationships.

Hardest but best decision I have made.

Her x

I'm just coming out of the toughest choice I have ever had to make. It has left me with nothing other than my health an a renewed desire to rebuild and make my life my own after a decade of sacrifice. I have a very strange sense of strength and contentment that I have never felt before. I'm actually looking forward to the future.
