DIY day 
I dropped an entire bottle of white spirit on my kitchen floor - so now I'm under a duvet on my sofa with the windows open - simultaneously freezing to death whilst being asphyxiated 
I haven't been food shopping so I had a ham sandwich for dinner.
Sad times.

Horrible and still going... Not likely to finish working until midnight - started at 6.30am
It also involved the funeral of my friend's mum, whom I've known for 40 years. Was very upsetting and lonely attending the webcast and not being able to hug my friend and tell her that i love her

Freezing my arse off today even though im inside a house.
The just built dormer is being fitted out with insulation and im fitting it.
Been cold all day cant wear a coat as it gets in the way of movement, so end up cold that slows the work down.
Facemasks are no bloody good either steamed up to hell or cant read the tape measure as out of focus. |

Why has your day been so good? Apologies if mentioned elsewhere in the thread!
My day has been lovely, catching up with a partner and planning when to see him next, staying relatively calm during an irksome mess I had to sort out (why can't people appreciate deadlines?) and having a good hot shower. I'm now sitting here waiting for the fiance to come back.
The only bad thing is the shameful, oh so shameful realisation that someone is far more intelligent than I am (on one subject but that's still enough). I think I'm going to have to cringe the rest of the night away and go and watch Hollyoaks. |
