I love the Scandinavian, South American, southern US states and Canadian accents. Bit of a random selection

I have a strong southern Irish accent but S doesn't hear it any more. She thinks I've lost it but everyone laughs when she says that.

I do mostly yes, both parents Irish and spent most of my childhood school holidays over there. Have also worked closely with both ROI and NI companies. There is a very vast difference from region to region just like in England.

Any accent of the person I find attractive at that point in time because I really am that fickle, I like a deep timbre that resonates within me and gives me fanny flutters aplenty. That being said, I will always have a soft spot for a Scouse accent on a woman because it reminds me of my first girlfriend.

but Alice do you reckon the Adv Brit ( one that does not have your exposure to our crazy Ness) pick up on them.

Reason for asking, every year corporate pick a game and send us to a match weekend, and every year we get ohhh ye are all Irish, we love yer accent,,

Now out of the 10 to 20 of us depending there are at least 6 defined accents, so we think which one are they referring to lol

If you’ve only ever heard Irish accents from tv, then you may be mistaken for thinking there’s only one Irish accent. If you’ve travelled the country or actually talked to Irish people, it becomes really clear that there a lot of different ones

It’s the same for most accents really. Being scouse I can tell where in Liverpool somebody has grown up.
