I’ve had a number of bucket list cars ... all for mental wanks, none have come to fruition lol
My first love was an Audi 5000 in 1983. Then as a teenager I lusted after an electric blue ‘90 Camaro.
I’ve had a number of Audis which I’ve loved, my favourite being an black A4 Quattro a few years ago, but I’m tired of Audis now.
I want a blue Mustang for my 50th in a couple of years. True mid-life crisis car, haha, and will hopefully hold on to it until we go all electric in the future. The electric Mustang looks
Right now I drive a very sensible and very lovely Volvo XC90. |

I don't like the electric mustangs, I'm dreading that they do it to the cobra, the acoustic is very important |

"Just felt the twitch of an icy road at Sparrowpit so wishing I had something more appropriate
Do you change your tyres for winter"
Its a personal lease car that was due back in November, which I then extended to December and now January due to uncertainty around COVID so at this stage a set of winter tyres would be an expensive ask. |

I’m a petrol head.
Bike collector, ex racer, restorer.
Had lots of sports cars.
Precision driver with work many of you will have seen on tv..
Ride at Goodwood FOS every year.
I’ve begrudgingly gone hybrid this year a and will be electric in a few years when the range increases.

Oh, I have such a list that I'd get if I won the lottery.
Top of it would be an E-type
Then an M3 and Defender to play in
I own a classic mini Cooper, although he's not currently on the road. And my everyday car is just for practicality and economy |

"I love my Caterham 7 "
My all-time, favourite car! I loved mine, and hated the day it had to go. Nothing I've driven before or after has given me the same thrill as that car, and I've had some nice stuff.
Right now, I'm well into my Japanese phase. Currently a GT86 for smiles per gallon, and a Corolla hybrid for miles per gallon. The 86 is a keeper, unless a Supra worms it's way onto the drive. The hybrid might go fully electric with a Lexus UX or Tesla Model 3, although there is a new Yaris GR4 thats talking to me, and a garage around the corner who want me to have a conversation. Those conversations always cost me money. |

"One with a chauffeur
Only if he's bare chested spurs
Why stop at the chest, might as well go the whole way I’ll try not to interfere with his gears "
I'd get further along to my destination with putting you two in the back and me driving |

A 4x4 is a necessary evil for us but as a confirmed petrolhead I’d rather go LPG than diesel so we have a 260 brake tweaked Touareg with a six speed manual box. You can get more go/grunt from the tractor engines but they don’t sing like the R32 engine.
A very nice policeman nicked me for “Only” 75 in a 60 recently. Must have been 30% off day In the constabulary
Real fun is kept to two wheels though. Currently building a 1100cc, 140rwbhp twin that I hope to get under 185kgs with a gallon of fuel in it.

"I have a new Audi S6.... And I'd love a Vauxhall Corsa!! Lol
Seriously Why??? "
The different driving modes scare the living crap out of me!! . Lamborghini launch system that actually flung my ponytail over the back seat the last time I dared to drive it in that mode!
I had a Ranger Wildtrak before and I miss my beast!! Don't get me wrong, the Audi looks the doggies gonads and drives like a dream, but I'm too old to be flingingbit around these days!! |

Currently drive a super sensible, super comfy, super boring diesel Volvo V60
Have a massive car history including lots of classics cars like a lovely 1969 BMW 2002, loads of MK1 escorts, lots of old BMWs
Money no object garage we would have
- a new defender 110 for S
- an Audi RS6 for D
- a 911 GT3 Touring for fun
- so so so many old cars. Like dozens of them. Mostly in bits and being restored. |

The 3.2 TDCi. Miss being high up and being in a tank, miss not touching the accelerator and almost killing everything around me with the speed of the S6!! I'm not a girl racer these days!! |

I used to have a Marcos, which I utterly adored, but family.
And with 3 learning to drive currently we have one sensible car, and an ever-increasing number of cheap-to-insure small cars cluttering up the driveway! |

Back in the very early 80’s I was in the fortunate position of owning both a 68 S-Type Jag & a 67 MB 280SE 3.5 Coupe
If it wasnt for our remote & tiny roads location I could see another S-Type in the gang as they are still not really silly money.
The 3.5 Merc Coupe though is now way out of budget.
H still has her Volvo T5 convertible. although it lives under covers most of the year & needs a bit of work for another mot.
