Both young women I fell in love with happened before we had sex. One ended before we had sex. The other it took over four years from when we met that included a split and getting back together, before we had sex. |

The TL:DR is that I’m hyper sexual but don’t connect sex and love. So I hug etc but don’t think to initialise sex. So she’ll remind me

Of course it is. That's not to say it's the best idea (sexual compatibility) or can't be a good one but it definitely happens. My first girlfriend and I didn't do anything other than a lot of kissing for several months and we were definitely in love. |

Yes, it absolutely is. The things that trigger love (for me at least) are not necessarily sexual, but sexual attraction does play a key part in that. Equally, it is more than possible to have sex, great mind blowing sex, with someone and not fall in love.
Differentiating between love and sex is a life skill. Not everyone can separate the two. |

Definitely. I have never equated love with sex. I recognise that sex with someone you love is the most fulfilling, but you can have great sex without love. |
