I’m embracing it, it’s not the first time and it won’t be the last. I’m thinking of making it voluntarily indefinite. It’s probably the right thing for me to do. |

I was 'celibate' before COVID so it's just an extension of that. The horn comes and goes but I'm not desperate for sex.
Sex is a part of my life but not the be all and end all. It would be nice but I'm not 'missing' it. |

The pandemic caused me to re-evaluate a number of things in my life, I came to the conclusion that if I gave Covid to my extremely vulnerable parents or other extremely vulnerable members of my extended family, because I’d picked it up in a sexual meeting, I would struggle to forgive myself. Secondly, because of the experience of another friend on here earlier this year, it caused me to re-evaluate what I was doing from a moral perspective and that convinced me celibacy is probably my best option. It always has been if I am honest with myself and you; the spirit may have been willing, but the flesh has been weak. I’m finally learning the discipline to resist temptation. |

I find this interesting thankyou. It raises lots of questions in my mind but none I can formulate yet. I am always impressed at people with strict discipline though. Good luck x |

I am somewhat missing the person behind the sex as much as the sex. All men are getting a slightly longer lingering look than I might usually give though. Heaven help the poor buggers I work with  |
