Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
That was the phrase used by one of the contributors to the piece on male and female parking on Breakfast this morning.
I admit I do that - but not just for parking. How else are you supposed to get everything in exactly the right place? |

on the men v women parking subject, there is some truth and scientific expaination for it.
there is an area of the brain responsible for 3 dimensional spatial awareness which governs the ability to detect movement, speed, distance and direction.
in the human male, as with a lot of other predator animals, this area is up to 3 times larger than the female.
it is an evolutionary detail which comes from the days when the human race lived in the wild as hunter gatherers.
The male would be out on the plains tracking and capturing animals and has honed that part of the brain. The female spent most time in caves or dens tending the offspring and hence did not develop the same skills.
It also accounts largely for why men, in general, can run faster and throw further than woman.
there are obviously exeptions to all these before anyone starts telling me their mum can run faster than my dad etc ...
over time it is expected that as the human race changes these difference will eventually even out
so ended todays science/evolution of man lesson |

Car? Usually no problem at all - assuming its not a ridiculously tight space or small garage.
Cock? Usually no problem at all - assuming its not ........................... |

"I have an enlarged hippocampus
Parking and spatial awareness are not a problem
Does mean I am lacking in social graces though "
Just because you take your mum shopping with you so you can park in the parent and child spaces.....I'm sure that's sociably acceptable!
Just remember to wind the window down a little on a hot day! |
