Not sure that DV is something that should be poked at for a reaction. The inequality of child custody and divorce cases maybe but DV nope. |

You should have been with me. I would have treated you with love and respect. I would have looked after you. and you would never have to go to work again. I have a sense of humour and posted this to get a reaction.... Of course Geoff is a nasty bit of work.... |

Why would you post provocative comments to see what reaction you'd get? Surely you must know that the reaction of any right minded person to that particular storyline, and a comment suggesting the protagonist was "treated badly" and "humiliated" would be one of revulsion?
I've followed that storyline from the very start, and although it is a soap, it's actually made me feel sick seeing it play out and the way he has manipulated Yasmeen - the thing with killing her favourite chicken and then feeding it to her without her knowing was simply horrific.
I'm sorry that you've experienced it with your husband too - as a man yourself to be demeaned like that must have been awful, not that it would have been any less so if you were a woman. |
