"You have to with coffee or the hot water burns the coffee beans
Oh Cindi.....this is why you don't use boiling water and have it at 70°-90°c
"
I dont have time for such tomfoolery, in the mornings Cindi needs coffee asap so the kettle does the job.
Plus he whistles at me so I like him |

"Always first before the weetabix
It is so satisfying to watch the milk soak into the Bixbix though
Am I the only one who tries to eat the Weetabix before it all goes soggy?!"
Nope, I do this too |

No, that’s why the milk goes in first just the right amount to make it edible but not soggy and there isn’t any spare milk left in the bowl |

"I thought this was bad then someone sent ne a video of someone putting the milk into a mug of hot water, then the teabag "
Have you seen the even worserer one when some American people heat the water in the microwave then add milk before any tea bag?! |

That's the one I'm talking about. It was super weak tea too! I was traumatised! |

It was an affront to tea making. I had to avert my eyes AND there was a child present. Disgraceful |

Nothing worse than soggy, mushy Weetabix - it has to have a bit of "crunch" to it - although I confess I do pour the milk over the Weetabix rather than putting it in first |

"I can't put any milk in mine because I've sodding well run out.

I had that problem once. And discovered that my neighbour is on fab as a result of announcing it on the forum |

Put it in first watch it soak half way up and then flip and repeat, I find milk over the top can leave milk behind in the bowl.... different ways, same effect |

If I am having fresh coffee then the milk goes in last.
If I have instant coffee the milk goes in before the hot water.
If I have tea then the milk goes in last.

that's brilliant. I highly doubt my neighbours are. I'd be so shocked if they were. |

"First in coffee
last in tea
This is correct.
The milk stops the coffee burning and tasting bitter.
Tea should brew for the min of 2 minutes.

I taught him that

Depends on the dissolvability of the instant coffee.
Some just clump floats if you milk first, however I do prefer milk first providing it ain't a clump floater.
Creamier if you give it a right good stir first, then add the hot water whilst still stirring. |
