Your Christmas trees, silly!
Do you have a REAL one that's scr4ping accross the ceiling? Or do you have a fake tree that fits neatly on your desk?
How do you mount yours?
How do you decorate - lights first or last? Angel or star, or both?
Do you place presents underneath from the off or do you wait for Christmas Eve when Santa "delivers" them?
Do you have those god awful flashing, fit inducing, jazzy lights with multiple disco settings or do you have soft glowey ones? Does anyone use candles anymore?
Is there a fashion this year?
Our tree is called Eve, she's a 6 ft non-dropper (yeah they saw us coming with that - we've already had the vacuum out and it's only day two). My daughter manages decorating operations and Eve looks like she's received a direct hit from a massive fairy bomb.
Tell me about your tree's please fabbers?
If you don't care much about trees then you could always just say hi or send me your boobs if you like
Much love
Bump x |

Your tree sounds just perfect OP (minus the needle shedding, it's why I avoid real ones).
The tree isn't up yet, it's a 7ft snow tipped big bushy monster of joy. We have quite tall ceilings, the year before last we had a 9ft one in and that was beautiful but an utter ballache to decorate.
It's decorated with sentimental ornaments from various trips, gifts etc, warm white lights that twinkle and I have a lovely snowy tree skirt. Presents come down very early Christmas morning (I'm normally up at 5am as I'm so excited and I have to message Babs the Christmas fairy to send her some love). Some years I do popcorn garlands going around it, I'm not the biggest fan of tinsle. Last year I spent ages crafting a miniature paper garland to go around it but that's so much effort for this year.
I'd send boobs but you've probably seen them enough time and I'm currently cringing at my lack of photo skills anyway. You're not missing out.
When do you get your presents out? |

I have a 7 ft Nordmann Firr. Hes real. He's also lopsided because he was too tall for my little cottage so I needed to give him a bit of a trim. He's very full of soft golden fairy lights, and gold, cream and silver decorations. No tinsel just some lovely beads with a gold star on the top.
He smells gorgeous. And despite his obvious flaws I love him. I think Bob and I are perhaps kindred spirits |

Babs
Any woman with a snow tipped big bushy monster of joy is my kinda girl!
Your orange pic was beautiful and I could never get enough of your boobs....
My presents remain hidden in the loft until Christmas Eve and I then tiptoe around to bring them down while my daughter is hopefully asleep..... |

"It’s tradition in my flat to have no Christmas decorations
I am 6ft plus and fake, the tree is long but droops on occasions and my baubles can drag on the floor. I have dragged out all the old gear for decorations much like my wardrobe, but in the right light with a favourable wind, a really good time can be had by all "
Big baubles
Not so sure about the wind.... |

I've got a 6 foot one that once belonged to my mam.
I have serious OCD with where all the decorations go and no tinsel is allowed on the tree. It's mainly decorated with the boys handmade stuff over the years and things they've chosen (they get to buy a decoration each year) so I have everything from traditional to a dinosaur and pig bauble. I've bought an angel to place on it this year, to represent someone I would have loved. I have a massive star and an elf on the top of the tree

"I have two.
Both 7’
One is a real one and one isn’t.
Actually, I think the fake one is 8’.
Where do you keep them?xx"
I have the real one in my lounge with purple lights. I plaited matching tinsel with a green Matt tinsel and more purple lights to go over my inglenook fire.
The fake one is on the glass topped well in the garden room. |
