If I grow my hair I think I will look more like Bill Bailey than Jason Momoa.

However the beard is getting long now.

I currently have long hair (half way down my back) and a full beard (had it for a year) and I love my look. It does take a lot of work to keep, but definitely worth it.

I had long hair and a beard before it became trendy, carried on when it wasn't trendy and still have it now it is again.

It's clearly dependent on grooming, a man with lovely clean hair and well kept beard oh yes pls.... The wurzle look however, not so much.

Beards are very much in fashion at the moment, so yes, a lot of people will say they go with long hair.

I have chosen to remain clean-shaven. There seem to be fewer women who are into long-hair-but-no-beard look, but there's also a lot less competition for them.

I have long hair, and feel that whilst I can and have looked good without a beard (especially back im my goth/glam metal days) I am now happier with one. For one thing, it softens my eyes. For another, it hides my slightly saggier chin...

Sure, I understand that certain women find them irritating, itchy, scratchy (my Scottish ex used to call me a 'jaggy Jagaroth' if I didn't trim it daily) and that to some people, they have twat connotations (Russell Brand etc) Also, hipster beards are just VILE. I never grow mine any longer than a couple of inches. But if looked after properly, I do believe they do us a favour. Apart from anything else, I can live out my fantasy that it's 1973 and I'm in an old sex comedy movie...
