Walsall bought the turf and relaid it a Bescot stadium and to my knowledge is still pretty much the same pitch they still play on.

Marconi was the first to patent it although in the 50's the patent was rescinded and given to the person who actually invented it(albeit after he died.) He was probably one of the greatest minds of the 20th century (and as mad as a hatter) and his name was....... |

Nikola Tesla. He also invented alternating current and it would have made him the worlds first billionaire but it didn't sit easy with him so tore up the contract. He died penniless
He also invented a death ray

"Which fab member couldn't give a twats backside what footballer did what as they r all a bunch of over paid wosoks? "
notall footballers are over paid you know.
average wage for a league 2 footballer is £750 per week.
i know thats not bad but to say all footballers are overpaid is a sweeping statement that isnt true.
i have employees earning more than that and they dont have to work saturdays and sundays.. |

"I dont know then, i was taught marconi, but ive obviously go the fact that he patened it rather than invented it wrong.
Cant think of any mad people they are all mad inventors"
Marconi stunned the scientific community by patenting a box which when opened had stolen teslas invention, Tesla also had to deal with the might of edison and all his political connections who tried to discredit alternating currant, even trying to make it law that the electric chair be named a tesla device

Do you seriously think footballers only 'work' for 90 minutes a week??????
for one, most lower league players play twice a week. They train virtually every day, they have to watch what they do and eat . they are not allowed generally to take part in anything that may injure them or affect their fitness.
Golf is about the only sport their clubs will allow them to enjoy.
They cant enjoy a food and drink fuelled christmas like us because they work over the christmas period and their working life during which they can earn money is very short in comparison to most people.
ok they are doing something they enjoy blah blah blah.
but the life of a professional sportsman is about hard work and discipline. |
