Replied to someone who said they were interested. Got asked about my location in the second message. Gave a board location but they got pissed off that I am a time waster and should find someone as cryptic as me.
Was I in the wrong?
Surely, I'm not the only one cautious about giving away details like that. Just want to hear what you guys have to say. |

Never only give it out over the phone if ur not willing to hand a number over then I am not willing to hand my home address over it’s just that simple
And for the ones that say I don’t want to hand out my personal number FYI pay and go SIM cards are cheap just pic one up for swingeing and only top it up when arriving stuff |

"If they were that easily pissed off, probably best avoided anyway."
Never had a person have a go at me for not telling them my location within a minute of speaking to them lol |

"we never give our specific location.
Some people will get aggressive in the hope that you'll do what they say, don't feel that you're the one in the wrong"
I thought it was a natural for people to be discreet. I wouldn't have batted an eye if they did the same if asked for their location. Felt verrry off |

Personally if I was chatting to you I would want to know where you are , your profile says " greater London" which is a huge area and I don't travel further than 30 minutes and don't accommodate, so I'd need to know the town or borough or train / tube station to evaluate the distance .
My single profile only states my county , I have no issue sharing the name of the town as soon as I'm asked .

"Just do what you are comfortable with.. Safety first, always.. Never compromise your boundaries

Exactly! I was like "what if this person comes and steal my food?." I wouldn't have any food left if I gave away my location like that. |

I kinda get your point here. I did say "North London" but I telling which borough I live makes things a bit less complicated while leaving room for being discreet. |
