I love the forums one of my fave things about fabs but they seem to be getting a little boring and stale and dull and they need shaking up a bit.
So tips on how to improve the forums. |

Well I've just spent 20 mins typing random words in the forum search box!
Amazing what you find!! Might have to get the jump leads out and kick start some back to life!!!  |

Take a couple of weeks break from the forum, find something else to do for a while, come back and see if it's still the same. it's the routine getting to you, everything gets to that point eventually, that's why we have holidays, stop us from going nuts. |

if you feel something needs to change, instigate that change.
post subjects you have more interest in, or maybe take an interest in something you wouldnt normally look at.
i dunno, i enjoy the forums for the sheer randomness of some of the postings.
never tire of them, but dont really take much notice of them either. |

Chat is weird, all those guys telling whoever to do this and that or telling them what they would do to whoever, makes me wonder if they sit in the movie house and yell at the screens as well. 
I just try to have fun in there, i don't ask to see boobs or whatever, if the woman or couple are going to do something then they will. some of the comments are really funny though. |

I think the problem is there are so many people on here now days that just come on to pull other peoples posts and opinions to bit a lot are scared to post as they dont want the hassle and cant be doing with some of the nasty, childish comments there seems to have been of late |

Perhaps that's the real issue... your bottom has not been as present as it should be. The only way to rectify the situation is to stamp your bottom onto EVERY thread. |

But surely boredom is a self inflicted concept and probably the strongest evidence we have in the argument between creationism versus evolution……
After-all how could anyone get so bored with dinosaurs they’d wipe them all out and put mankind in their place…….eh!

Familiararity breeds contempt as the saying goes.
We all get times where doing the same things over and over get tedious and boring.
Get out and about and have a couple of days off and come back refreshened. |

I've been on the Pat and Mick for a good while now so the forums have been my fave waste of time (and to be fair they are when I'm working too if I get chance to nip on during the day)....I miss a few posters who used to be prolific and funny, but can no longer post; but mostly I still find some gems (even if the Mods have to pull the occasional thread, (not before I have laughed so much a little bit of wee runs down my leg))
As View says, when the forums hold interest stay on, when not, watch the telly......
Anyhow, I got a social meet later so best go and get my teeth in the steradent and polyfilla up before I meet my next victim (hope he doesn't read the forums ) |

What a load of crap, from what i can see there is a constant influx of new people posting, some stick around some dont, i do feel the forums are more "sanitized" than they used to be, but hey thats the ebb n flow that constantly changes the forums which is why most posters come back, we all like the car crash threads, the look at my profile threads, if for no other reason than to take the piss, we all do it, we all have people we like to post with, ones we avoid, ones we find funny, ones we dont find funny...new posters come n go all the time as do regulars....oh and the c word has always been here, always will be, just different as posters come n go......gotta love the forums |

Possibly a bit of both, many threads are likely to be repeated, add to that visiting the forum regularly and they will appear to be on a repeat cycle.
Maybe a week or so out ans then pop back, you may have your enthusiasm back and even ideas for new threads |
