Putting together a vegan hamper for a friend for Christmas.

Have lots of ideas but the one thing that eludes me,

the abyss

Vego - can be got from any health food shop or amazon etc. Filled with whole hazlenuts and is amazing!! I'm not vegan but my sister and ex are dairy free so I found this and I'd happily eat it instead of other chocolate. They also do it in spread form like nutella - I'm not drooling honest

I love booja booja and the new galaxy ones

Vego is good and hotel chocolat are good (ask the staff and they will show you all the vegans ones)

Personally I don't like the moo free offerings

Whatever you get they will love you for the thought + effort

There's a vegan cake shop in Liverpool called The Nakery

The stuff from there is lovely, especially the dessert jars

They have a website, but unsure if you can shop online

Cadburys Bournville is vegan, and look out for Bendicks chocolate mints... vegan also.

Lots of dark chocolate is vegan, so worth a look. There are things "accidentally vegan" which just don't use animal products. Aldi have in the past done some lovely vegan truffles and they were not expensive either!

You need some better jokes - they’re really not funny enough

As to vegan chocolate - I love the yellow NOMO bars, remind me of Dairy Milk Caramel. I got Booja Booja truffles for Chrimbo once, they were delicious but I know they’re pricey. The galaxy chocolate is pretty good.

I have nothing against the Vegon diet although some Vegons are not only against animals, they are against humour..

I think my Quornish pasty one is up there, but vegans are a tough crowd obviously.
