Just looking for some thoughts, perhaps advice (primarily from women) as to what British women want from guys, what are turn ons and turn offs.
A diversity of opinions is what I'm ideally looking for xx |

Speaking for myself:
I like to be wooed.
No cut flowers.
Alcohol before chocolates. Always
Be good in bed.
Be a good responsible driver. Surprising how many men turn into Nigel Mansell the minute they get in a car. |

Humour, honesty, attentive & good flirting skills, I like suggestive & teasing.
Turn off is arrogance. |

If I was looking to date I'd want somebody who was compatible, but who I also fancied and who was good at the sex thing.
Perfect doesn't exist, so by compatible I mean where we have a similar take on things, and fit into each others lives without too many upheavals...yes, give and take is part of any relationship, but at this point in my life I don't want too much of it.
And of course there's the all important chemistry...when the chemistry is good you both just know, and I'd walk away if it wasn't there, even if he was perfect "on paper" |

Could you tell me how do you define arrogance? Like for instance I think I'm confident and my heart is in the right place but I can see how some ppl think it's arrogance. |

And another reason I'm thinking about is that I'm too nice at times, to polite, to caring and a bit naive tbh even though I've still only been here just over a year.
Is there something like being too nice? Or is that all in my head? |

I think you are overthinking things.
Just be yourself and you will attract someone who is right for you and who will appreciate you for being you.
Dont change to 'fit in'.
Be yourself |

Thanks and yes but wow being single for so long starts to affect you mentally and psychologically and you begin to wonder not only if you're the problem but maybe you just don't fit in here.
But thanks for the advice, greatly appreciate it. |

I dont think the forums are that representative of all women everywhere to be honest, we've all learnt to get a bit bitey on here on opinions and posts on here are just a tiny snapshot of womanliness. No-one can ever be too nice, you just won't have met the right person to match your niceness. Run free and spread your wings there are lots of lovely ladies out there away from fab forums, and slightly less jaded with life, or they have no platform to express it on at least, you'll just get your ear bent whilst your trying to watch a movie instead. Fab does have lovely women too |

British women are unique in the world in that if you look really really closely they have a slight bioluminescence about them but also an anti guy repellant force.
This has the effect of attaching guys from miles around but when they get too close they get repelled. You see this most prominently in a club where a women is surrounded by circles of guys. |

"British .....
I'm from the Caribbean and I've only been living year for just over a year
Why on earth would you leave the Caribbean to live here? "
It's too warm for starters, I prefer colder weather and there are a lot more opportunities for me here than back home (though though my country is pretty wealthy and has the third highest GDP in the western hemisphere) |

I think you need to differentiate.. Scottish women are often hampered by religion.. not easy to get your leg over..
Welsh girls are great but always want a relationship leading to marriage..
English girls are not my cup of tea..
Northern Irish girls have a grating accent ...
Southern Irish girls sound lovely..
Mixed bag all round.. |

Any chance your house over there is still empty?
I can be packed and at the airport within 4 hours |
