Thanks for reply never thought of bicarbonate of soda, I was thinking something like febreze but don't want to get mattress to wet. |

It works for everything. I pour it over my carpets and hoover up to give it a freshen up |

Well I used a stain remover with a little warm water and mattress is looking like new again, dried it off with a towel and covered it with bicarb will leave it on for 2 or 3 hours and vac off. Hopefully it will be dry enough to sleep on tonight if not I could be sleeping on sofa.
Picking up mattress protector cover tomorrow
