Freshening up Mattresses

A box at end of your bed

Looking for a bit of advice on how to clean and freshen up a memory foam mattress before I put an under sheet mattress cover to protectit in future.

Clean any stains with a stain remover spray and allow to dry. When dry sprinkle liberally in bicarbonate of soda and leave as long as poss. Hoover off

Thanks for reply never thought of bicarbonate of soda, I was thinking something like febreze but don't want to get mattress to wet.

Thanks for reply never thought of bicarbonate of soda, I was thinking something like febreze but don't want to get mattress to wet. "

It works for everything. I pour it over my carpets and hoover up to give it a freshen up

Bicarb is a miracle worker. There's a Flash bicarb spray too thats great on mattresses.

There are companies now that come out to do this for you. Not expensive either.

Well I used a stain remover with a little warm water and mattress is looking like new again, dried it off with a towel and covered it with bicarb will leave it on for 2 or 3 hours and vac off. Hopefully it will be dry enough to sleep on tonight if not I could be sleeping on sofa.

Picking up mattress protector cover tomorrow
