"I don't understand mourning, I think we're better celebrating tbh
We're not entirely clear what's going on here, we'll be honest "
An extra day off work to get over the death of a national treasure |

I think there should be one too remember those who have been with us most of our lives from celebrities who most of us have watched via television or listen via the radio as they are heroes too and been part of people's lives from being so little to adulthood through generations |

When Bowie died I was gutted
Been a big fan of his music since the early 70s
Still collect his music
Sadly missed |

I vote we should have a National Day of mourning for them before they die, so they can see how much they were loved, and then another official one when they actually pop their clogs. |

"There needs to be something annually to remember the fallen heros of the NHS etc who have sacrificed their lives to save ours due to Covid
"
This is currently wrapped up in Remembrance Day but another day would be totally appropriate as the 11th of November is primarily Armed Forces focused with other Services (NHS, Polices, Fire...) Being more of an add-on. |

I think it was Spain who had 3 days national mourning for theirs, and China did something similar.
We can't forget these heros. |

"I’m going to be devastated when Madonna dies. Just giving you all fair warning in case I’m still on Fab when that happens "
I always thought she'd go out in a blaze of glory in some tragedy when she was in her prime.
Now I reckon she will live to be 99 and like a McDonald's fry she will look the same as she does now. |

"I'll just prepare you all now... When anything happens to Miriam Margolyes and Kathy Burke, I'm gonna be in bits "
That's gonna be me when Meatloaf passes on. From my earliest childhood memories of music (my dad is a huge fan) to taking my dad to his first gig at Hyde Park to see him, his music has got me through some incredibly tough times and given me some wonderful memories |
