Goodness me i had no idea putting up a Xmas tree was so stressful. I ditched my 3ft one and bought a 5ft one but all the branches had to be inserted separately and i got all tangled up with the 300 lights. An extra pair of hands would have been welcome. Never mind, it is up now and looking good if i say so myself. Wine time now for me. |

"Well done. We'll be letting a 3yo loose on bauble hanging at some point in December. I'm stressed just thinking about it "
When my lads were little I would let them decorate the tree then re-arrange it once they had gone to bed, it set off an OCD event if things weren’t spaced out right |

Ah it’s always good when it’s done though - they look so pretty.
Lots of people have made an effort this year with the lights by me. I take my youngest on the early evening dog walk and he ooohs and ahhhs at the lights. |

We put a real one up yesterday. Sawing off the top, electric sawing the bottom into a tapered finish so it fitted into the base and then hoovering up the needles was a pain in the arse. Looks great now and makes the room smell nice. |
