My children keep finding their Christmas presents that I’ve hidden around the house. Someone suggested that I should just keep them in the attic.

So I tried that last night, but their constant crying and whining kept me awake. All the “I’m afraid of the dark” or “I don't like it up here - there are spiders” really got on my nerves.

Any other suggestions?????…

Don't get them presents....

Is that frowned upon?

Have you thought a out putting them in the garden shed? You won't hear from them, then the presents can go in the attic so they're not in Your way.

"Wrap some empty boxes and leave them about, the rest hide in the attic."

Teach me to not read the question properly.

Put them with their toys unwrapped and they won’t even notice, it’s as easy as hiding sweets and biscuits under the veg

East Sussex

another good way to avoid them finding their gifts is to tape their hands behind their back and only take the blind fold off once they're in bed

Hide the presents with your "toy" collection that way if they find them they will not speak about it or ever look for them again ;-p
