What shapes do you suggest, circles, triangles, square ?
You can put athletic but aren't shot putters athletes ?
I prefer to go with who I feel a connection to rather than to limit my choice.

Photo's are a good gauge, although these can often be cleverly angled for best effect
Body shape is, quite often, open to interpretation
From the choices provided, I class my body as 'ample' whereas I have seen guys my size and bigger regarding their build as 'average' |

People do describe their body type in the profiles details I think. Most put 'average', but average of what is perhaps a more difficult question to answer.
