I am afraid the O.P. has no idea.
Surely one has sage and onion with poultry.
Cranberry is American shite for turkey.
Not even native here.
Good old British Bread Sauce for poultry or orange sauce for duck. |

Never heard anything so snobby Who says what goes with what, i eat what i like and that includes pasta cooked properly and not rare beef. i dont think twice about it. I certainly would have condiments just because everyone else does |

We always had mint sauce when there was cabbage as a veg... The only person who liked cabbage was the cook and so cooked it whenever. Experimentation on a lamb day led to mint sauce on the table being the precursor to cabbage! |

No you are not, but then I am a true pedant, I prefer REd Wine with Beef, white with chicken etc........But I also rail against the improper use of language, such as pleb!
Pleb (or Plebian) was a rank in Roman society (one up from Prole, or proletarian who was a freedman or the like, one down from Equite or knight of minor nobility) who was entitled to certain rights such as a corn dole and to vote in the century of his tribe and was expected to provide conscript military service.
So either we are all plebs (I aknowledge that there may be slaves on the site, but doubt anyone is in the Aristocracy) or there are no plebs in the World any more.........Grr, rant over........ |

"If you've been to McDonalds or any take aways you never know if you've had someones special sauce in your grub "
They even used to advertise the fact with the Big Mac.... "Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions.. all in a sesame-seed bun'...
Well, until some boring fart pointed it out to them......
