Every year in at work on December, a bunch of us would bring in mince pies from as many places as possible and rate them (usually get through about 30 different ones )
Asda and M&S usually came out on top
I'll miss doing that this year. |

Tried the Asda extra special with salted caramel the other day, quite nice cold but thinking they maybe better warm with a dollop of thick cream. Looking forward to trying the black Forrest ones |

A bit of Devon custard on top of the Asda Special mince pie!
Then before you it eat to decide cold or heated in microwave? I went cold with a spoon of Nestles milk earlier Mmmmmm. |

The Aldi extra special ones are quite nice. But you can't beat homemade ones, still warm from the oven with some double cream...drool.
I refuse to partake until December though, so a couple of days to wait yet |
