Has anyone been brave enough to pre book?
Are people going to chance it?
A week in the sun chilling out, cocktails and doing not very much in the sun seems very good right now.
I think the whole country needs a break. |

I'm not making plans until jab 2 plus fourteen days.
Then, when it opens again (I could go back sooner but $4k quarantine hotel no thank you) I'm pissing off to Australia for awhile. It'll probably be winter. But summer in Manchester, winter in Sydney... eh same difference |

Portugal is booked for May the 9th
Malta is booked of 17th July
And currently looking for one at the end of September this year's holiday money has been burning a hole in our pockets so we've taken advantage of the cheaper deals at the moment. If lockdown and covid is gone next year, everything will be booked up quick and prices will sky rocket |

We had no choice, all ours, Majorca, Basque Country and France are tied in with Ironman events from this year that were cancelled and rolled over to 2021, which meant transferring flights and hotels or losing loads of money. |

"I won't wear a mask on a plane, so when it's possible ible to fly again 'unmasked', I'll book summat
Why won't you wear a mask on a plane ? "
Cos I already suffer panic attacks on planes. Not a fear of flying, but a claustrophobia.
I can currently manage them to a degree on short flights
I think wearing a mask would exacerbate any potential attack, so I'd sooner not bother.
I have no issue with masks in everyday life |

I get mildly panicky in a mask, so I absolutely and totally understand this.
(I'm actually exempt but I'll be damned if I don't cover my fucking germ holes during a pandemic - which is a comment on me and my choices, not anyone else and theirs) |

Sounds like you've thought it through and made a sensible decision |

I have booked to go to a festival in Malta, in pretty much all cases you are going to get a refund if it doesn’t go ahead... even though it may take a while Due to the amount of refunds travel companies are having to go through atm.
Although I’m probably biased as I work in the travel industry so book in a way to kinda support it I guess? |

Got a cruise booked and plenty of thoughts for further trips.
I'm desperate to get away.
If you're travelling to Europe, do make sure your passport meets the post-Brexit requirements - or get your application in now for a new one.

Jet2 have been brilliant in all this. They gave full refunds within a week of the first lockdown and again when I had to cancel another trip.
I will definitely book with them again. |

Do they still pipe that awful Jess Glynne song through the intercom though? |

No idea, I haven't managed to travel with them yet. I hope not! |
