Thought I'd get in there first with wishing my fellow Lancastrians all the best and have a great day! 
A time to celebrate all things Lancashire... Freddie Flintoff, Jimmy Anderson, Man Utd, Salford Rugby, Black Pudding, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the Lake District (or part of it at least ), Cannon & Ball, Ernie Wise, Bumble Lloyd, Emmeline Pankhurst, Peter Kaye, Victoria Wood, Sir Ian McKellan....
Celebrate this evening by watching the RL Grand Final between Wiggin & Sintellins (hopefully they both lose  ).

Too bloody right it is! We're a proud bunch us Lancastrians, but we're not as in your face as those lot over t'other side of t'Pennines going on about Geoffrey Boycott, their teabags and their rhubarb growing capabilities.
I assume you must have a North East day as well, where PJ & Duncan, Royston Vasey, Jill Halfpenny, Captain Cook and the cast of Geordie Shore are honoured? |
