There's always been a dominant team, it was Williams back when I first started, but most (not all) teams have had their day in the spotlight.
I won't deny if things were a little closer it would make for a more interesting sport. |

I am a fan of F1, yes there has always been a dominant team/driver but I still come back to watch it when it's on.
But you cannot beat attending a live race. |

Love it, being reasonably close to the channel tunnel have driven to SPA a few times, one of the few old school tracks that absolutely nuts for true speed appreciation. |

There may have been one dominant team for most of F1’s history, but never to the current extent. This amount of predictability means the loss of coverage on free-to-air channels is no great loss. |
