Here’s a great conundrum.
Is the OP currently without a neck tattoo and wondering wether to get one which would be swayed by a positive reaction to them. Or does he have one already and how would he feel about a negative reaction. I hope it’s the former. |

It depends on the style and coverage.
I'm not keen on a full neck tattoo, but I like a tattoo on the shoulder that sneaks up and appears slightly on the neck.
It's like a tease, I want to see it all etc

Depends where on the neck all I going to say is it’s a brave one back off the neck on the nape is easy the side off the next hurts like hell pain shoots right up the side off ur face and in to ur eye and temple and that’s speaking for expensive as I have both the side and back done don’t know about front as I never had it done
Lot off place will not do them or in less ur all ready covered head to toe they in the job stopper category |

This is what I have. I have a very small bird on the nape of my neck. I then have a large floral piece on my shoulder. Think there is a pic on our profile of it.

Depends. If it's one random crappy tattoo, then don't like. If they are heavily inked, alternative and it suits their style then like.
Though saying that, those that their necks are really heavily inked or coloured in where it looks like they have a floating head, then not really a fan. |

I really don't like neck, face or hand tattoos (or chest/boob tattoos on women)...everywhere else is dependent on artwork/person, some I like, some I don't, it's very subjective.
But you should only have a tattoo for yourself OP, not anyone else or to follow fashion...if you like it and believe that you'll like the way it looks every time you look in the mirror for the rest of your life then go for it. I know from experience not to make snap decisions about tattoos though, I hate mine....thank goodness its somewhere where very few people see it, and I will be getting it covered when I find something that I'm certain I won't also regret a few years down the line. |

For me face neck or hands would be career suicide. Ive got 1 mrdium colourful left hip and another right butt cheek both can be covered.
Not made keen on neck/face tattoo on other people but each to their own.
