So the title of this is a little bit vague but it isn't me moaning for a change lol
I am curious to know if anybody has any famous relatives or have met there heroes or just any cool celeb stories you guys have?
Mine are all in and around my hometown Liverpool, my cousin is katarina johnson-thompson (although not seen her since she was little), I worked in bars on the docks so met a fair few footballers, and actors and actresses from brookside, hollyoaks and coronation Street, and the schools I went to had famous former pupils like Paul McCartney and Ken Dodd. But the most random one I only recently found out, at my age I don't tend to have many "Heroes" per say but as an avid Evertonian and boxing fan I idolised Tony Bellew, not so much for some of the stuff he came out with, but for the love and passion he gave to those he loved and the things he loved. And there was a group that asked a similar question and a mate of mine from my school days was saying how he went to school with Neil Danns (a footballer) and Tony Bellew. Turns out he was in the year above me at my school, probably seen him loads of times as a kid and not even remembered lol I know it's a stupid story but it blew my mind for a few days haha. |

My friend always gloats about meeting her haha, her mum builds little ornament figurines of horses and she did one for the Queen of the queens favourite horse so she got invited to meet her and Prince phillip to present it to her and she took her daughter my friend, swiping another friends story a mate of mine used to do Even security in London and he was head of security for when dolly Parton did her last UK tour, he loved her and she signed loads of stuff for him during the tour. |

"My mates dad is the singer of Iron Maiden.
Was he the coolest kid in the world when he was younger haha don't even know what the equivalent would be today?!"
I didn't meet him until we were older and I found out he was his dad by accident. He never said anything until we were playing a gig and we were all waiting for him to turn up as his dad was dropping him off. Long story short I NEARLY DIED when his dad pulled up. Jaw was on the floor. |

There and to the left a bit |
Various footballers (mainly Spurs) down the years - still have a picture of 10 or 11 year old me with my idol at the time Pat Jennings with his huge hands on my shoulders.
Met Roger Moore on the set of The Spy Who Loved Me
Various members of Madness and The Beat
Paul Weller briefly, likewise Norman Watt-Roy of The Blockheads
And probably various others - and have found them all lovely, the lesson being talk to them as people and not celebrities and they talk to you normally back. |

"Bumped in to many because of work but the best fun wash sharing a spliff with Kurt Cobain and hanging out pre gig back the day.
A drink with Mr Sinatra was a close second. "

"Phil Lynott still owes me a pint "
I was also in the same year at school as Guy Pratt who replaced Roger Waters on bass with Pink Floyd, and Lord Andrew Adonis who went on to become a Minister for something, I don't do politics |

Led Zeppelin used to practice at the local miners welfare club in their early days, but 'the committee' banned them for being too loud and needing the room for the Sunday lunchtime strip show |
