All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

Who misses them? They're such good fun and a brilliant way of putting names to faces as well as doing some prospecting.

I attended several editions of the MLS, Newport social and was due to attend the Birmingham one for the first time....then COVID happened Heathrow one was also on the radar.

Anyone here plan on attending any when we're able to have them organised again?

I'll be at Brum when it's safe.

I've yet to make it to a STP but would really like to.

All would depend on who was on the list though as there are some I plan not to share oxygen with.

I had a few on my list for this year, including Leeds, Birmingham and Heathrow. They can be really good fun, and a good way to meet people that you've chatted to as well as new people. I'm sure I'll manage to get to a couple once they're back up and running.

I will no doubt attend the MLS again when it's back on, and have been considering going to one of the social nights that Libs have been holding recently (if nothing else it's a chance to have a nosey at the club as it's one that I've heard good things about and was planning to visit)

I can’t wait to jump into socials!

I want to meet so many people from the forums and I feel like I’m missing out on a huge aspect of the scene not being able to socialise properly with people.

Starting this journey at the start of the covid stuff has really limited me. I want to lose those limits and properly explore! Give me all of the experiences pretty please!

I miss socials! I miss the whole dressing up, having a drink and a laugh and being able to put faces to names, have a bit of a flirt and a good catch up with some friends (and also scribble handsome men's names across my boobs). When all this is over I'm definitely planning on going to a few - Heathrow was a hoot and very good for me in every way ( ), I'll definitely go back to the MLS and maybe a STP? I'd like to go to one in Newcastle or somewhere I've not been to before. Maybe Essex.

I miss seeing my good friends in one room.

Goodnight girl and I looked last time as the list was huge but the problem with larger venues comes more pre expense and more risk if we don’t get the bar tab they require for the size of venue. Hats off to sexy brunette and miss red for finding the amazing venues they had. Maybe a spin off in chesterfield or derby would be a good idea for a secondary venue and for those that are not quick enough to get on the main list

Yes as VH says We’d love to have everyone that wants to be there if We could and did toy with the idea of asking for a couple of quid each per person to help fund a large deposit but it went down like a lead balloon. It’s so tricky.

As an aside to the above ive had people being nasty and rude TO MY FACE (& not realising who I was) about their inability to get on an MLS list fast enough and how the organisers are ‘asking their mates’ and ‘up their arses’ to restrict the numbers. So I hope the above clears up some misconceptions.

Also if anyone wants to be up my arse at thrbnext MLS It’ll make my weekend! Cheers!

"Can’t wait to get planning the MLS with the other two. It’s sad to think along with May that was cancelled we had planned one for august and this weekend

I’m going to make the effort to attend a few more local socials too as soon as possible

You might need to get a larger venue what with all the interest shown

Goodnight girl and I looked last time as the list was huge but the problem with larger venues comes more pre expense and more risk if we don’t get the bar tab they require for the size of venue. Hats off to sexy brunette and miss red for finding the amazing venues they had. Maybe a spin off in chesterfield or derby would be a good idea for a secondary venue and for those that are not quick enough to get on the main list

All the yes's for this idea "

Feels like an eternity since we attended an MLS

We also had our name down for the Brum social too

Once they are back on, we are definitely on it!

I miss them. I was about to organise a second Shrewsbury Social when lockdown happened in March.

Hopefully will start them back up next year.

Think the organised socials are great at meeting people.

"Just realised MLS was meant to be this weekend. Hold me whilst I cry!

Yes as VH says We’d love to have everyone that wants to be there if We could and did toy with the idea of asking for a couple of quid each per person to help fund a large deposit but it went down like a lead balloon. It’s so tricky. "

I'm sure I've seen other socials advertised where they've asked for like £5 via PayPal as a deposit from each person/ couple. It's not fair for the organisers to have to fund it. If people don't want to pay a deposit, attendance isn't mandatory.

Organisers do it as volunteers. All the socials I've been to have been brilliant and it's been obvious that it takes a fuck ton of organising.

Leeds social is £5 or £10 a person I think and I’m always the first to happily give her it as I know what a bugger they are to arrange.

I often wonder if those really opposed to the cash are so like as they don’t want to reveal their name via PayPal or wether they are only kinda ‘thinking’ of coming so don’t want to commit their fiver.

It is more than likely the name element, maybe a gofundmepage could work instead, name stays anonymous but individuals but their username in the donation comments ? I think as never actually set one up

Yes, the PayPal thing can be a stickler. I’ve had some that won’t use it when I was taking bookings for the meal after. But another thing to consider is how big do you want to go. It works well because you can manage to get around everyone, too big and you lose that intimacy x

I had been to organised socials in London, Brighton ,Hastings ,Worthing etc and had some fabulous evenings chatting with swinger friends which makes it great for organising subsequent trips to clubs and other social and one to one play times. It's far more efficient and fun than using fab as a means of making first contact. However more importantly it's a social life with friends wired the same way .

I organise the Durham social, and omg so miss it .

I would have normally been getting ready to start organising the January one now but having to wait.

I did even think about an outside event for the summer if anyone was interested x

Nice! How large a crowd do you usually have? Is it a daytime or evening social?

Curious as i've never been out that way before

If ya get kicked in the shin by a midget.. it's me

Iv had events throughout the years all different sizes

From mini bank holiday with 20/30 people to large o es with 200+people

I normally do saturday nights so people who travel and work have a better opportunity to come along

And bank holiday Sundays starting on the afternoon all the way through the night so everyone has a chance to come along at different times x

The STP was outdoors a couple of years ago. On possibly the hottest day of that year.

Sounds brilliant. I've attended evening socials before and found them a blast. Especially if there's a music and dance floor

"I can’t wait to jump into socials!

I want to meet so many people from the forums and I feel like I’m missing out on a huge aspect of the scene not being able to socialise properly with people.

Starting this journey at the start of the covid stuff has really limited me. I want to lose those limits and properly explore! Give me all of the experiences pretty please!

I've no doubt you'll love them

I’m a sexy little thing and want to spread my legs

Looking forward to meeting you and assisting however I can at the next event "

Just now noticed this

London

I've been to quite a few in and around London and hopefully, the lockdown ends so there will be a few planned for next year.

It's the best way to meet people.

I miss them dreadfully op! Most of my friends are on fab - and socials are the only place I see many of them!

I’ll probably attend just about all of them when we’re allowed!
