Self love doesn't always mean liking what you see in a mirror. Often it's a quiet thing. Soft but certain. A gentle rebellion. It's the day you wake up and realise you've stopped apologising for the space you take up; it's removing yourself from the people who make you feel like you're less than enough. It's wanting to learn from and challenge yourself; it's knowing your worth on the days nobody else sees it and standing up for yourself when no one else does. But there will be days when you don't. Days when you can't. And on those days, it's forgiving yourself. It's trying again. And again. And again.
I didn't write this. But saw it online earlier and thought it summed it all up beautifully.
So I'm sharing it for all who need it.
You are worthy, all of you. Just as you are

Yes I agree it’s a lovely message at this moment in time as a few of us are feeling a bit low with one thing or another

I've been in that situation. It's the hardest thing. And in that case you have to just keep telling yourself they're wrong until you believe it.
Or find some way if you can to get away |
