"Mince minces? Do you mean like a recipe that uses mince? Because it’s pretty basic, but an old one. Basically if you make up a chilli con carne to your taste/ heat etc... But instead of serving it with rice boil a few potatoes whole, skin on or off depending on preference. Then once cooked and cooled grate over the top of the chilli in an oven dish with knobs of butter and grated cheese, salt and pepper and bake until golden/crispy. Tasty alternative to rice. " Also one of the best ways to cook mince is the Tom kerridge method. Baking tray spread out into a layer seasoned with a very small amount of olive oil and baked in the oven. The mince goes lovely and golden, is healthier and tastier. | |||

I do it with couscous, so boiling water, stir and leave to expand. One tip with the couscous is to swap the water for chicken stock, tastes so much better | |||

You can use a deep fryer or Dutch Pot... Experiment with the seasoning if you feel adventurous. | |||
